Trevor Burnett

Trevor Burnett has more than 35 years’ experience managing teams and delivering exceptional customer service.

Trevor has worked in Senior Management positions in the Facilities Services and Property industries for the past last 10 years, managing a wide range of functions from sales & business development, to finance & administration, to mergers and acquisitions.

He has also worked in several major Australian Banks and Credit Unions in a variety of Corporate Banking roles including Head of Business Banking for Australia’s second largest Credit Union and Risk Manager with Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

The Collectiv Story

It is hard to beat a person who never gives up. That mindset has shaped the journey behind Collectiv Group.

Our story began more than 35 years ago, with a trades services business built on customer service, practical innovation and the belief that better outcomes come from challenging the way things have always been done. From introducing faster service response times to adopting new technologies in plumbing, pipeline services and BIM-led hydraulic project delivery, the business grew by staying close to its customers, backing its people and moving early when the industry was ready for change.

Over that journey, hundreds of people have been employed and more than 350 apprentices trained. That commitment to people remains central to who we are. We understand that strong businesses are built through trust, experience and relationships, not just systems and processes. In an increasingly digital world, we still believe that face-to-face connection matters, because it is often where the best ideas, partnerships and opportunities begin.

Collectiv Group was formed in 2020 as the next chapter in that story. Our first major project, T8 Tonsley, transformed 2,500sqm within the Tonsley Innovation District into a shared workspace community for start-ups, small businesses and growing companies. From there, the Collectiv Group of companies has continued to expand across property development, workspaces, tourism, innovation and building solutions.

Today, Collectiv Group brings together experience, resilience and a genuine appetite for progress. We invest in people, places and technologies that support smarter, more sustainable ways of working. Whether through Collectiv Workspaces, Collectiv Innovations, Collectiv Retreats or future development projects, our focus remains the same: to create practical, forward-thinking environments where businesses, people and ideas can grow.
